Toynik presents an evidence-based approach to transforming STEM learning outcomes through gamified instructional design, combining board game mechanics, cognitive science, and digital augmentation to address systemic learning gaps among K–12 learners. The project responds to well-documented challenges in India’s education ecosystem, including low foundational numeracy, high learning disengagement, and the marginalisation of kinesthetic and neurodivergent learners. Toynik develops curriculum-aligned physical learning games that integrate mathematics, spatial reasoning, and scientific thinking into playful, collaborative environments. Key products—rooted in trigonometry, coordinate geometry, operators, and nutritional science—use rule-based problem-solving, narrative framing, and multi-sensory interaction to improve conceptual clarity and engagement. The research framework is informed by constructivist learning theory, experiential learning models, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
